Claret Showroom opened its doors in the summer of 2005, offering a unique and exciting buying experience. We’re a small and focused team with multiple levels of experience, knowledge and understanding of the industry, working closely together to achieve maximum results for our stores and designers.
The team is headed up by Claret Showroom founders Alex Lyles & Claire Spencer-Churchill. Claire started her career at Paul Smith working on the mainline womenswear team. She then moved to Ferragamo where she operated the wholesale for the UK. Alex was a founding member of Goodley PR, managing the Mango, Ferragamo and Future Classics accounts to name a few. It made perfect sense to combine their two backgrounds and the showroom was launched. We have now grown to a team of 7 staff and sell to over 350 retailers.
Our strength as a showroom is being flexible to work with our brands to offer a service they require. This ranges from a straight forward agency contract through to a full European distribution service. We have warehousing space near Heathrow and a worldwide distribution net work making the process smooth and reliable.
The showroom is situated in Chelsea, just off the Lots Road, which houses a number of fashion brands’ head offices and showrooms including At Showroom, MiH jeans, Issa & 1927 Showroom.
